There’s Always Something You Can Do to Help Yourself
One day, I was riding the bus home and I noticed the ad on the back of the bench that was at the bus stop for a Phoenix chiropractor who gives free assessments. I had been whining to my husband just 30 minutes earlier that day that I didn’t know what to do for my back and leg issues. He told me that I really needed to do some research instead of assuming that nothing could be done. The ad on the back of that bench was a good reminder that we should not simply give up without doing some seaching for more answers first. I quickly took a photo of the ad so that I could call the phone number for the business when I got home.
As soon as I reached our house that night, I looked the business up online. I wanted to make sure that it was a trustworthy place. There was even a nice write up in our local newspaper about the business. I scrolled down to the bottom and saw different readers stating they had been to this same place and had received really good service. One person said she had even been in a car accident and she had received chiropractic help from the man who owned the place after she had spinal fusion surgery. She said it was the only thing that helped her. I was sold and wanted to try it myself after reading those things.
The assessment was really thorough. I couldn’t believe it was free! The chiropractor spent about 40 minutes talking to me about what I thought brought my pain on in the first place. He wanted to know about my lifestyle, too. He wanted to know if I worked out back when it first happened and whether I do now. He really got to the bottom of things, and now I’m getting regular treatments from him.
